From 1st January 2020, all refrigerants with a GWP of more than 2500 in stationary plants, standard installations, condensing units, packs etc, will be no longer in use under the F-Gas Regulations.
Furthermore, from 1st January 2022, any refrigerant with a GWP of more than 150 in commercially-used central plants (packs) – common in supermarkets and hotels – with a cooling capacity of more than 40kw will be no longer in use under the F-Gas Regulations. This new legislation concerns all systems within commercial applications.
Already, food service consultants the world over are championing the use of natural refrigerants. Green Cooling and its consultants have been working with natural refrigerants since 2008 and it accounts for 80% of our turnover.
