When one of the largest hospitals on the south coast embarked on the development of a new retail and food court complex, the design, specification and installation of the cooling, heating and refrigeration services was of utmost importance.
Green Cooling was called on to provide a multiple fan coil/cassette air-conditioning & heating system with associated controls alongside a chilled and frozen food service refrigeration system.
A complete service was provided from design and specification through to the installation and handover for each element of the project.
The development consisted of three different concessions, all major high street brands, each having varying requirements but all having the same objective of requiring efficient and reliable performance throughout their standard operations.
Alongside the more comfort focused heating and cooling systems, the provision of a critical food service refrigeration system was also a key element of the project.
Additionally, a complete food service refrigeration package was provided including chilled and frozen storage with a complete package of equipment and services.
Equipment selection and specification was prioritised around leading manufacturers with well-proven equipment and systems that would provide the operators with trouble-free use and reliability.
The technical team at Green Cooling provided a system design that reflected the demands of the project and delivered a complete specification to the client which exceeded all the project requirements.
When it came to the installation, Green Cooling Project Engineers carried out all the required elements of the air conditioning and heating system whilst also carrying out the refrigeration installation as part of their contractual responsibilities.
This in-house engineering capability enabled the installation team to operate concurrently across all the areas, which provided the client with a seamless coordinated approach to the air conditioning, heating (heat pumps) and refrigeration systems.
